Description

There are five miles of hiking trails winding through the park's evergreen forests. The Pacific Crest Trail passes through the park. President Theodore Roosevelt once proclaimed Burney Falls "the eighth wonder of the world." High praise indeed, for the twin, thundering 129 foot falls, accompanied by numerous plumes of water, is a spectacular sight.

Directions

The park is northeast of Redding, six miles north of Highway 299 on Highway 89 near Burney.
